Refund Policy – Cow Ka Desi Ghee

At Cow Ka Desi Ghee, we care about your trust and satisfaction. Every product is packed with love, care, and strict quality checks before it reaches you. Still, we understand that sometimes things may not go as expected. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds will be provided, what deductions may apply, and in which cases refunds will not be possible.


1. Eligibility for Refund

You may request a refund if:

  • You received a wrong product.
  • The seal of the product is broken at the time of delivery.
  • The jar/container is not the same as what you ordered.
  • The quantity, weight, or size of the product is not the same as ordered.
  • The product was damaged, spoiled, or leaked during delivery.
  • You cancel your order before it has been packed or shipped.
  • You are unsatisfied with the product quality (with valid reason and proof).

2. Refund Request Timeline

  • All refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Requests made after 48 hours will not be considered.

3. Deductions from Refund Amount

Refunds are issued after deducting unavoidable charges such as:

  1. Platform Fee – Payment gateway/platform charges.
  2. Delivery & Pickup Charges – If the order was already delivered or needs to be picked up.
  3. Processing Fee – Handling and administrative cost of refund.

Example: If your order total is ₹1000 and delivery + processing charges are ₹100, your refund amount will be ₹900.


4. Refund Process

  • Once your request is approved, the refund will be processed to your original mode of payment (UPI, bank transfer, wallet, card, etc.).
  • Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 working days.
  • In rare cases, due to bank/payment gateway delays, it may take up to 10 working days.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • If the product has been consumed, used, or tampered with.
  • If the refund request is made after 48 hours of delivery.
  • If the product was delivered exactly as ordered but you changed your mind later.
  • If there are minor natural differences in texture, color, or taste (since pure cow ghee can vary depending on season and cow’s diet).

6. Replacement Option

Instead of a refund, you may request a replacement product in cases such as:

  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Seal broken at delivery.
  • Jar/container not the same.
  • Quantity/weight not the same.
  • Product damaged or spoiled in transit.

This ensures you get what you ordered without waiting for a refund.
